(seen on criterion)

X-rated, which in 1960 means some tit-flashes, rock-and-roll partying, games of chicken, a strip joint subplot, and rumors of the father's new wife's shady past (prostitution).

Running the strip joint is a young and strikingly-handsome Christopher Lee.  Among the beatnicks in a very young and hammish Oliver Reed nicknamed Crazy.

Starring Gillian Hills as the rebellious daughter of a well-to-do architect.  And has anyone ever double-snapped her fingers to groovy music so well!

Well-filmed, great soundtrack (for the times), surprisingly arresting.  Cult status.
