The Intouchables (2011) - King Bob - 08-23-2021 French film starring Omar Sy as a unemployed guy who stumbles into a job taking care of a quadraplegic guy. Based on a true story. Sy is charming (and noticeably less pumped up than in Lupin). It's pretty funny. Recommended as light entertainment that's a bit touching. There was an American remake with Kevin Hart, and I imagine it's terrible. RE: The Intouchables (2011) - Greg - 08-23-2021 Bryan Cranston was also in the remake. It could go either way. I tend to avoid Kevin Hart films. RE: The Intouchables (2011) - King Bob - 08-23-2021 That's what I was thinking. He's okay in voice work though. RE: The Intouchables (2011) - Greg - 08-23-2021 There is a character in the movie Free Guy that seems to be doing a Kevin Hart impersonation. It's my one knock against that film, even though it isn't Kevin Hart. |
