I Care a Lot (2020) - King Bob - 02-20-2021 Rosamund Pike is a lawyer who has runs a conservatorship scam on vulnerable (but well-off) old people. She targets Diane Wiest, and it doesn't go according to plan... Fairly entertaining way to pass the time, but I thought super lazily written. So many plot holes, and an implausibly extensive conspiracy. Diane Wiest was totally underused; it would have been better with more of her sparring with Rosamund Pike. Christina correctly predicted a twist at the end but our other hopes for plot directions were not. I also felt like the director didn't quite know what sort of a movie he wanted to make. RE: I Care a Lot (2020) - Drunk Monk - 02-25-2021 I want to watch this for Dinklage. RE: I Care a Lot (2020) - thatguy - 02-28-2021 I enjoyed it but I found the soundtrack annoying/distracting. Dinklage was great. I didn’t see the plot twist coming. —tg |
