The Love Punch (2014) - Drunk Monk - 10-26-2020 Bond & Trelawny are a divorced couple who lose everything to a corporate raider. They hatch a plan to steal his diamond to recoup their losses and conspire with Scabbers and Mrs Keen/Green. Set in Paris and South France, it's a cutesy rom-com diamond heist caper, mostly about Bond & Trelawny (HP factor 2, Downton 1 for Tuppence who I really remember from Sense8 & Black Mirror). Amusing mostly because several of the Paris scenes were shot right where we stood during our trip. Scabbers was great. No sword fights. Not DOOM recommended. RE: The Love Punch (2014) - Greg - 10-27-2020 What is it about being in a spot where a movie was filmed that is so entertaining? Don't get me wrong. I enjoy it. I just can't fathom it. RE: The Love Punch (2014) - Drunk Monk - 10-27-2020 It brings back good memories because most movie settings where I've actually stood are touristy and I was there because I was on vacation. That's my fathoming... This flick ended on the Seine right outside Notre Dame - a walkway we were at many times because one of the places we stayed was right up the street. RE: The Love Punch (2014) - Greg - 10-27-2020 It's a puzzlement. RE: The Love Punch (2014) - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 10-27-2020 It confirms that your memory is real.
