Jackie Chan sings - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-30-2005 Now available for download on itunes. I think it's in celebration of China's music on iTunes month. I'm torn about downloading a song to find out. mt118
NO! STOP! DON'T DO IT! - Drunk Monk - 11-11-2005 I actually have a Jackie Chan CD and it's awful. There's even a reggae song, but it's over 5 minutes long and I check out at around 30 seconds. Jackie has a longstanding singing career, but it's alll cantopop which is a horrible horrible genre of music. BTW, my CD is Heart of the Dragon, which came out around Supercop 4, the one in Australia. It comes complete with this little clothbound book of Jackie in Teen Beat poses, in the shower, lying provoactively in the surf with hs pants unbuttoned, stuff that Japanese Kogals go nuts for. Jackie and Diet Pepsi - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 02-07-2006 Now, Jackie Chan is playing second fiddle to a diet pepsi in a new ad campaign. Is there nothing this man will not do? And yes I am disturbed by the fact they crush a diet coke in the commercial, but that's beside the point. Please stop. Aren't there enought people in Asia to love you without shilling for the soft drink company? It might be better if he were advertising the nicotine drink. Jackie Pepsi Ad Sneak preview of upcoming August West article - Drunk Monk - 02-09-2006 Usually cranefly is the only one who sees these ahead of time. Just for fun, I'll make an exception here - DOOM EYES ONLY! Don't scoop this to IKF now... Quote:It’s said that one can never see a whole dragon, only portions. Just a short examination of the 2005 news section on his official website, www.jackiechan.com, reveals Jackie is equally difficult view in just one screening. THE MYTH aside, Jackie just became a flower, an orchid, to be precise. The National Orchid Garden of Singapore named an orchid Dendrobium Jackie Chan, which they say is a “strong and stately plant,” with reddish purple petals. Jackie is also an ambassador for UNICEF and World Smile Day. He’s also been an anti-piracy advocate campaigning alongside California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jackie co-starred with Arnie last cinematic role before he took office. That was Jackie’s last American release, Disney’s AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS (2004). Jackie is also a singer. Jackie has been releasing CDs of his music for years in Asia. He even sang the theme song for THE MYTH. His iTunes tracks are available for download – proceeds go to charity. Jackie is also restaurant manager. A fourth Korean Jackie’s Kitchen was opened, joining his other franchises in Japan and Australia. There’s only one Jackie’s Kitchen in America so far and it’s in Honolulu, but there’s talk of opening one in Las Vegas. In addition, Jackie has introduced a line of Jackie Chan chocolates and Jackie Chan nutritional oatcakes, and once lent his image to a line of soda. Unfortunately you can’t get that easily in America. Like his music CDs, you can’t even by it at Jackie’s Kitchen in Honolulu. Jackie is also a fashion designer. His line of menswear, childrenswear, footwear, accessories, timepieces, toys and food items celebrated its 3rd anniversary and has some 40 outlets in China. Jackie is also sports club owner. He just launched his California Fitness Jackie Chan Sport Club franchise with two gyms, one in Hong Kong and another in Kuala Lumpur, with more planned for Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai – none proposed for California yet. Maybe he should give his old pal Arnie a call. And in some defense of cranefly, this is the unedited version. Maybe this makes up for the singing and the drinking - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 09-01-2006 And any day I can quote and Irish Paper: Ireland Online Wrote:Jackie Chan backs call for end to Chinese dog slaughter Jackie loves puppies - Drunk Monk - 09-13-2006 http://www.jackiechan.com/photos_view?cid=384 Yeah, but he doesn't respect his elders - The Queen - 09-14-2006 I saw him beat up Jimmy Kimmel's 70-year-old uncle Frank on TV last night. Re: Jackie Chan sings - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 08-13-2008 The truth about Jackie at Last! I saw this article aboout violence he did on a national website. It was very informative. Jackie Chan on Violence Mulan - Drunk Monk - 10-08-2011 We just netflixed Mulan - we have the VHS, but haven't watched it in a long time. There are 4 music vids in the extra features. One by Stevie Wonder and 98 degrees (good when Stevie hits the harmonica), one by Raven (puh-lease), one by Christine Aguilera (what a voice when she was young) and one in Mandarin by Jackie. Jackie's is the pick of the litter by far. BY FAR. Re: Jackie Chan sings - thatguy - 10-12-2011 So what's the skinny on this 1911 flick that I haven't heard anything about? Except that it's his 100th film and reviewers said that it's a mess... --tg oh, thatGuy - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-12-2011 DM is going to be so dissapointed in you: 1911 I hope to see it tomorrow - Drunk Monk - 10-12-2011 ... on the clock. Hmm, this should go in the "my job is not so bad" thread... Re: Jackie Chan sings - thatguy - 10-12-2011 Hey, I searched the forum...I think that's as far as due diligence goes. --tg you searched the wrong forum - Drunk Monk - 10-13-2011 DOOM reviews are one thing. If you want the whole spectrum, you'll want to check out KFM: http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/f ... y.php?f=15 Re: Jackie Chan sings - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-13-2011 Where did you think I sent him? |
