Top Knot Detective (Amazon Prime) - Greg - 03-25-2019
I thought for sure DM would have watched and reviewed this by now due to all his free time.
I guess I'll just have to do it myself.
Top Knot Detective is the Australian Documentary about the Japanese Ronin Detective. It was a huge cult hit in Australia back in the 1990s. And it was also, if you'll permit me, big in Japan. The documentary does take a lot of time to show you how awful a show was TKD. Cheap production. Terrible effects. Rotten fight choreography.
And I just realized something about the film that makes me want to reevaluate everything I've learned. There should have been a mock in front of doc...
Dammit. I feel so used. It's like that damn documentary about the British art exhibit where they supposedly found a bunch of treasure in a lost Roman trading vessel off the coast of Africa.
Goddammit.
