The Big Lebowski (1998) - Drunk Monk - 12-04-2018

Such a classic. Each time I see it I find something more about it that I enjoy. And the older I get, the more Walter & the dude remind me of lb & dm in their younger reckless daze. Not literally, of course, but metaphorically. Plus there’s a sword fight! It always makes me crave White Russians and I dont really care for those being that I’m lactose intolerant. HP1 = prof lupin.

I believe The Big Lebowski leaves Netflix at midnight tonight.  I'd been thinking about revisiting it, but time is running out.

Never seen it. That probably makes me a bad person.

But if I were a good person, I would probably care.

Might be too druggy for you, G.

Honestly, I wasn’t that into it when I first saw it. But over the years, it’s really grown on me. Each time I see it again, I enjoy it more. And I still laugh out loud at it, for different reasons each time.

Yeah, I thought it was decent when I saw it years ago, but wasn't blown away by it like a lot of people.  Maybe I was in the wrong state of mind, or like you say it grows on you.  But not likely to get to it tonight.

There always seems to be something I missed before.

FYI, Jeff Bridges is the voice of the aviator in The Little Prince, see my thread.
