RIP Marty Balin (belated) - King Bob - 10-05-2018
Somehow he didn't get much press - or should we say pixels or something now - and I found out after the fact. I have heard more than once that he was an asshole, but he did put Jefferson Airplane together, and wrote about half of Surrealistic Pillow, including "Today" and "Coming Back to Me" which I think are the best part of the album, so I'll thank him for that.

White Rabbit was anthemic for me for a period of my life, as some of DOOM well knows, at least those of the 'feed your head' subset.
I saw a lot of posts in my social feeds, but that's my music industry friends. I really had no experience with Balin, so declined to comment.
