Hereditary (2018) by Ari Aster - cranefly - 09-25-2018
Some great performances, notably by Milly Shapiro as the strange little girl, with some very effective horror and suspense, but ultimately a big disappointment.
It promised so much, but did not deliver the goods. I felt cheated, and my intelligence insulted, by the time it was over.
Your mileage may vary, but to my mind considerably overrated.
