I can’t remember the last time I was here at Oracle. I started to search this sub forum but got bored.
There’s like half a dozen opening acts. I’m only two deep at this point.

Caught some of SZA - the pussy song. Meh. The acts are themed with sporting events. Each stage has a different sports theme with the rapper on giant projected baseball-type cards. SZA had a boxing ring but I was really disappointed that she did not box.
Kendrick next.
Ok, Kendrick’s got it going on. So much of Hip Hop is crap. It reaffirms the genre when an artist has really got it. Gone are the sports motifs. That was just for Top Dawg - the promoter for the undercard acts. Kendrick has a massive video wall, but a fairly sparse stage otherwise. It’s all about his rap. Good stuff, woke, rapid and precise.
He’s got the audience in the palm of his hand. Call response on point. It’s an auditorium-wide rap along. Everyone is on their feet dancing. It’s a sold out show. Big beats.
His sports motif is a race car driver Nike jumpsuit.

Goddamn. Everyone in the house knows all the lyrics but me. The whole audience is taking over the rapping repeatedly.
