The Big Short meets Network.
I come and go with Clooney. Sometimes I like him, sometimes not. I usually like him when he's self degrading. This time, I liked him. And Roberts has such an unusual face, but she always seems genuine - I don't know why that is. There are also a lot of TV stars in this.
What made it work was that it had these really funny moments. It's a thriller, it's got social commentary, it's got a little action, but the best part are these odd comic moments. The gf scene was really funny - I haven't laughed that hard in a theater in some time.
