RIP Alan Rickman - Drunk Monk - 01-14-2016 I was going to grab my Slytherin scarf today because it's chilly and I'm still a little travel sick. I'm very sad that I forgot it.
RE: RIP Alan Rickman - Greg - 01-14-2016 I am an exceptional thief. RE: RIP Alan Rickman - King Bob - 01-21-2016 I was shocked and saddened by this. And all the star testimonials show that he was classy and supportive of his co-workers. I know I first saw him in Die Hard, but I think I first started paying attention in Sense and Sensibility - he has the great opener of "The air was full of spices." His performance was subtle yet it kind of drove the story; Emma Thompson later said that Brandon is the real hero of the story. (I have to admit that this is one of my all-time favorite films, which causes much mockery from my wife.) No doubt you have other favorites - Galaxy Quest is certainly one of his greats, and possibly the story of his work in Hollywood as well. |
