Ernest and Celestine (2012) - Drunk Monk - 01-20-2015
An Oscar nominee, but not the winner (lost to Brave) - it was nominated and won a lot of other awards too but who cares about those? It's sweet - the animation is quite delicate and simple, yet effective. It also has some remarkable dream sequences which border on hallucinatory. Forest Whitaker is surprisingly good as the voice actor for Ernest in the English translation. I always thought his acting talent hinged on his lazy eye, but he voices a good bear too.
