I love the man's writings.
When I was at Tower we hosted a book signing with him.
He was the biggest a-hole I have ever worked with. He demanded access to the manager's office and locked himself in until signing. He treated the staff like crap and fans like fodder.
I love every word he ever put on paper but from my experience and what I have read of other interactions he is not a guy I would want a beer with.
RIP Ray and I challenge Harlan Ellison to a non d-bag drinking contest.
