Crazy Samurai Demon Wardens battle the Queen of Demons. Apparently demons bleed cyalume, which explains a lot. Very colorful CGI, a bit hokey, but consistent, almost anime/manga-like. Some funny translations like 'pissing me off' and 'pain in the ass'. Great villain hairdos. Gratuitous wound licking. Lots of sword fights, including an amusing battle in the upside-down castle that's very Escher. A flirt fight. A little long-winded, but entertaining. Did I mention there were a lot of sword fights? Gallons of cyalume is spilled. I was hoping for a little more Japanese myth references like Spirited Away or The Great Yokai War. At least there were a lot of sword fights.
Almost DOOM worthy. I'm raising my criterion for DOOM worthy as I'm lowering it for sword fights.
