Maui - The Queen - 10-08-2011
One of my colleagues was chopping down a tree and failed to get out of the way when it fell toward her instead of away from her. Because she broke two bones in one leg and sprained the ankle on the other leg, I'm currently sitting in an outdoor bar at the Fairmont Kea Lani, sipping a glass of Cabernet, enjoying a breeze and watching the sun sink into the ocean. If only I had my boyfriend and our critters at hand...
Heading home tomorrow night. Red eye/overnight flight. hoping I can sleep on the plane!
