It's not often you hear about an autistic person who has a phd or designed most of the cattle pens in North America. but that's what Grandin has and does. She's also a proffessor at the University of Colorado.
When Claire Danes won an award for her portrayal Temple Grandin, I figured I should watch this film and find out what all the fuss was about.
I'm glad I did. Despite the backdrop of the cattle industry, it was a very emotional film. It doesn't seem possible that Grandin accomplished all the things she accomplished. Claire Danes does a great job portraying her. It was one of those, I thought Claire Danes was supposed to be in this picture moments.
