Remember our 10th? Two doomers had the honor of being doorstops for GM Tu's iron crotch truck pull, while the rest rode in the flatbed. Our 20th will be even more massive, so I'll be calling in yet more favors of the brotherhood. Mark your calendars now.

2012 is...The Future! Master Tu will have to pull a hover-truck with his Secret Weapon, G-Man will have corneal-implant video cameras and be recording 24/7. Legbone will have discovered Western Medicine, DM will be practicing combat-handgunning (with laser-guns!) TG will have finished drinking the cool-aid and started on the vodka, HK will have hunted down and killed The Last Haggis, The Queen will rule justly, and El Dingo and King Bob will have opened up their third vegetarian taco-truck and art installation.
Me? Oh, I'll be there. In the future. Count on it!

That was last year and it was an informal welcoming banquet.
This is our 20th. The banquet is totally different, more like our 10th - $108 a seat and a masters demo limited only to our past cover masters and high level sponsors. It's costing a fortune. Jenn is going nuts with the decor. We just got the custom backdrop for the stage two days ago. Things are pretty crazy here now because of it. I'll tell you more when I see you tomorrow, face-to-face.

The Ohs did a site inspection this week. I know the facility as I've done events there before, but I don't know all the details. The banquet is in the SJ Convention Center itself - 2nd floor. We've reserved one of the big rooms there.

I just learned my parents will not be at their house during this weekend. One of the biggest PITA about this trip has been removed.
