Shaolin Summit Los Angeles May 2011 - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 05-13-2011 Dm is coming. But what is more important is that American Ninja Warrior is holding tryouts on Monday and Tuesday. I think he needs to enter, as of all the brothers, I suspect he is in the best shape. I promise to follow him around and take picture. I just realized I had a DM time slip. The tryouts are four days before he arrives not the Monday after he arrives. Dammit. I need an innoculation. I guess DM could come down early rather than staying late. Besides, I couldn't lift 25 lbs. GM Tu leaves his weight plates in front of our copy machine so I have to move them when i make copies. Every time I pick those up - using my arms like normal humans - I think 'no way. no f-ing way'. You should audition G. Just dust off your ninja duds, drop trou, and lift. You know that feeling you get when you know you've walked into the wrong room or place? That was the immediate impression I got. All the seats were taken by smoking Vietnamese men. There were what appeared to be slot machines at a back counter. The noise in the room dropped perceptably as we entered and all eyes turned to us. We never made it more than two steps in the door. A quick vote was taken and we beat a hasty retreat out to the wrong car. Good times.
