River of Gods by Ian McDonald - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 04-02-2009
India 100 years from now. Good read. Multiple story lines interweaving/intersecting. Some predictable, some not. Two really good sentences. All in all, I give it a solid 7out of 10 Frightened Sherpas.

Dammit, I already lent it out and I don't want to "lame-afy" the good prose with my bad, half-remembered versions. I did dog-ear the pages, though, so when it comes back I'll share. It will be interesting to see how much context had to do with the impact of the prose.
