The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - thatguy - 08-22-2008 I didn't know Max von Sydow did French. I really wish they hooked this guy up with some eye-tracking system like Stephen Hawking. It's so frustrating to hear his assistant have to spell out the alphabet over and over so he can communicate. But that's the tech nerd in me, and that frustration makes the movie more powerful. It's a movie about isolation. I was moved...I liked the end title song "Ramshackle Days" by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. Hadn't heard that before. Also a couple of Tom Waits tracks. --tg search first, post second - Drunk Monk - 08-27-2008 http://brotherhoodofdoom.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1288  |
