Epic - a bit long. I had to watch it in two sittings. Soundtrack was rockin' at times which seemed kinda out of place.
The story was little hard to follow in places. The movie has a little of everything from Frankenstein to Metropolis to 1984, although some of the fight scenes seemed like an excuse to go "Ultraman" or "Power Rangers". Visually it was beautifully stylized - kind of reminds me of the David Lynch Dune, or Blade Runner. Entertaining and interesting to look at, all in all...

Did I mention that I watched in in Japanese with subtitles? I think there's a dubbed version out, or coming soon.
I talked with they guy I got the video from and he says it's the kind of movie you have to watch more than once to catch everything.
