She even caught some of the soundcheck - an acoustic FotD, Ripple, Deal. She was backstage for dinner and wound up standing in line next to Bobby, which made her uncomfortable, so she decided to eat in Rock Med.
My other deadhead friends have been raving about it. They played three sets; the middle one was acoustic with Phil on standing bass again.
She said she stood next to two guys from CNN who chatted loudly through a set. One of them started tapping his toe a little during Iko, which Mrs. Dm said was 'excellent.'
She also said she got me a poster.
I got back to my hotel room at around 2 AM (had to leave for LAX at 6:45). I turned on the telly and there was Phil.

I'm watching Bill Walton on Sportcenter and he is raving about the miraculous experience he had in San Francisco. Even Bill Walton was at the Obama Event.

I remember seeing him with 3rd row, center seats at the L.A. forum. It made me really pity the dude with 4th row center seats.
