I don't know why the forum hates you, but I will endeavor to find out.
And by endeavor to find out, I mean I hope it resolves itself without my intervention. My fix is usually worse than the cure.

Nope. What browser are you using? I have no problems with Doom on Firefox or Safari, on PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone.

it may be some weird firewall we have here at work.
interestingly enough, after it cuts out, i've found i must go back a page to cut the text of the post and then log back in. when i log in, it takes me to the post window, which is empty unless i was using a quote. i then paste the text and have to fill in the title, but the title is already saved in the pull-down menu as if the post had already been made.

As soon as you have departed, I will be updating the forum to the latest version. That might help. Or it might kill everything we have done for the last 13 years! Here's thinking happy thoughts.

It always makes me nervous when part of the instructions are to delete every file. But I did and now we are back.
When DM mentioned he was having problems, I checked to see if the board was up to date. The first time it was. All green on my screens. Today, it showed I was not up to date. I initially had some confusion when I thought I just needed to update from 3.0.12 to 3.0.13. Which I could have done. But the forum actually had a full upgrade going from 3.0.x to 3.1.x and with such an extensive overhaul all the old themes and things no longer work. But I'm hoping we can now just paste in youtube codes without the old bbd code wrap.
Onward.

This update is so freakin' new there are no new themes for it and the old themes don't work. Well, there is one new theme, but I didn't want to go the World of Warcraft route. I'll keep checking and posting them a they become available.
Yes, I hate this theme and can't wait for it to be gone.

And so a few minutes later, I found a couple of themes that aren't horrible. I'm currently using the Aluminoid theme. I just have to get rid of the Aluminoid Banner.

unfortunately it only seems to apply to the landing page. once inside the ol' forum here, it reverts to that pastel blue.
pastels give me indigestion and the winds.
