Almost done with my Dacascos interview. I just need one segue to the conclusion (always such a bother) and some polish. I think I'll put it down for a bit, let it simmer down, and then give it a stir and some final seasoning later.

I'm doing an addendum on one of my Cobra Kai features. I just remembered a key point that I meant to add while driving here. I did a lot of composition reflection during my commute and now, the few times when I drive, that comes on hard. Feckin muse. She sings to me when I should be paying attention to the road.

Been trying to write a bit, but the muse is being tight lipped. Got my EDD caught up.

Just back from the dog park. Or as it was today, the mud pit. Good thing we washed him yesterday so there was a lot of clean fur for the mud to attach.

Too muddy for the dog park so we walked down to the boardwalk. It's so sad there, all covid abandoned. You can see the remnants of revival attempts - spray-painted slippah spots 6" apart. Banners of seagulls in masks. The Drive-in movie snap code for the menu. The empty parking lots, still blinking $5, although there's ample parking everywhere. The nearby restaurants, all with 'we're still open' signs even though they aren't. Yuki luved it tho. Lots to smell after the rain.

At Black bear picking up dinner for my mom. Our list of take out places is dwindling with closures and her low tolerance for spice of any sort. I always feel bad after eating here. Bad for my alc.

I didn't think they had one of those around here, but then remembered seeing it over on El Camino. I think the Longhorn would have been closer.
