Dentists. Feh. Sounds like she was busy holding forth during the visit when she shoulda been concentrating on her patient. If you have a real concern, you have the medical POA, yes? You can talk to her doc. The Parents do get more vague and forgetful, but in their environments, they do pretty well. Some slippage is normal.

Yeah, I’d love to change my mom’s dentist but my mom is so resistant to any form of change. Gotta chose those battles, ya know?
Well, our internet was out last night which was a bummer. I wanted to complete some more work and then watch The Bad Batch. Instead I had my whiskey&nitecheese early and went to bed. I was strangely tired.
So I’m awake now. 2AM. Staring at my phone.

I'm solid sleeper until 3 with maybe one bathroom break during that time. I go to sleep around 9:30.
But then it's fragmented sleep until 4am, while I do the sleep math. (If I fall back asleep now, I can get 40 minutes. If I fall asleep now 25 minutes...) For the last several mornings, Maeve has decided that why should I sleep until the alarm at 4 when she needs me at 3:55? Cue mad barking. And if I don't move fast enough, she will proceed to tQ's side of the bed to talk to her as loudly as possible. Maeve will not shut up until I am dressed and heading for the kitchen. Good times!

I should never go to bed early. It just means I’ll wake up early and wind up staring at my phone again.
Brain circus thoughts = bug bites, earwax, papayas, Yvonne Craig, tears, frozen veggie egg rolls, birthday gift for a 2 year old, backpacking, foxtail season, aveeno bath soak, work rhythms, nite cheese, occipital lobe ache, failing eyesight, dolphins & cheerios.

Maeve started barking at about 1am. She then came into the bedroom. In the hopes she would be quiet on the bed, tQ brought her up. Nope. Maeve's plan was to sing/whine until it was time for her 4am walk. I'm going to need a nap very soon.

She would've been 84.
In one of those FB birthday tributes, I read where after Batman was cancelled, they struck the batcave set. A few weeks later another network offered to pick up the show, but then declined after learning that the sets would have to be rebuilt. Such a shame. I could've watched a lot more Batgirl.
