I have embraced the madness. I spent 11 and 1/2 hours going to and from Los Angeles. I met interesting people. I took photos. I flew the Drone. At one point the Drone Software on my phone wanted me to enter a Chinese mainland phone number before I could use the software. The was a fun panic time. Fortunately, by restarting the phone (where the app lives) I was able to bypass that step. i was going to be really ticked off if I couldn't take any more Drone shots halfway through the shoot. (Mercury in retrograde, indeed) But it worked out. One battery died suspiciously quickly but I was ready to go.

The rush is on to get the bridge completed by this Summer. This means I'm going to go down again in about two months because they are doing things very quickly at this point. They did a lot since I was down in August. The fever has quelled for now but it will rise again as the 6th Street Viaduct Facebook page continues to post updates.
