It's a great time to be up. Mordor is covered in wet fog. The air is full of sounds of things you you can't quite see.

back at the care center where my dad spent his final months. man, so many memories, so many triggers. the smells, the sounds, such a noisy place, so unrestful. still haven't gone out to see the bunnies. my mom caught a glimpse but she's still not quite mobile. hopefully next week...

You hear such pained screams in the background of a care center sometimes. Fortunately my mom’s hearing deficit seems to mask that. Genuine pain screams are so different than movie screams.
