As if you had enough hair to blow back anymore.
Man, my hair is fugged up now. I cut my locks to go to China, and Stacy convinced me to go to Supercuts because Jennifer was out of the country. The cut worked for PRC but it’s her growing out weirdly, first giving me thr Mao hair (which I disdain) and now the mad scientist hair as Tara calls it which appears in all my selfies lately. It’s just barely enough to tie back in a teeny top knot, which looks great for iai because with my receding, it’s close to that classic samurai cut. I’ve been letting my stache & beard grow out in hopes to distracting from it, and those are now at serious fu manchu levels. I should shave and do Ming the merciless for cosplay. But I don’t shave in winter because it’s too damn cold. Besides I’ve been scared of shaving because it may be the last time, my ultimate transition to full on KF villain. I should just own it, right?
Anyway, I went to bed early with means I just popped wide awake. I don’t know why I think going to bed early works. I always pop awake like this a few hours after midnight and end up getting less rest than if I stayed up all night.
Thinking about work stress and holiday stress, and Scapino. Maybe we should arrange a D00M zoom to cheer him up? Anyone got pro zoom? I only have the free version which times out at 40 mins I think.

Yes. It's much better to pay about the insomnia while having the insomnia.
Currently obsessing that I have to redo about a third of the interview because one of the cameras was out of focus. Not looking forward to asking Master Tu and Sandy for a do over.

The awake is wide in this one. Ready to get in the car and drive home to get started on the Tu translations as soon as possible. It doesn't help I have a car full of great in a sketchy parking lot.

Currently wide awake on my sleep in day. Can't imagine what is keeping me awake. Except for the mountain of things to be done.

Went to sleep early which always causes me to wake. Stressing that my mom is sick - a cold - and her Medicare still isn’t settled.

Still don't need sleep. Too many thoughts running around my brain. Plus the pain the shoulder is making it hard to find a comfortable position to sleep in. I might break down and go to a doctor.

Stacy gave me some herbal stress relief sedative that knocked me out last night. Tonight is worse because I have more to think about. I doubled the dosage plus had a few shots of Tullamore. I’m hoping sleep will take me quickly but not so quickly that I drop my phone on my face.
