RE: Brain circus insomnia - Greg - 05-10-2024 I've never liked you. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 06-01-2024 Not a restful night. I was tweaking about my overloaded summer schedule and struggled to go down then I had to get up to pee because I dreamt about peeing and that’s always a sign to get up and now I’m tweaking again. Not a good approach to any adventure…. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 06-06-2024 Popped awake after an unsettling dream that I can’t rememebef but it’s my brain stressing my summer schedule again. It’s going to be fun - gotta focus on that instead of the absurd amount of work it’ll cost me. Almost posted on the 4:20 thread because I work at 4:25, but didn’t want to pick up my phone because I thought I could get back to sleep easily. Guess again. Still spinning from the sphere. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 07-10-2024 It took 48+ hours of travel from my doorstep to this delicious bed where it’s now 4 am but I’m on 1pm Cali time… RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 07-14-2024 I’d like to get some sleep before I travel… RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 07-21-2024 Time zones are dumb Why didn’t jet lag (ship lag?) ever effect the crew of Star Trek? RE: Brain circus insomnia - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 07-21-2024 #1: Time zone always same on ship #2: It's a TeeVee show RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 07-22-2024 Imagine the jet lag from time travel… Just a tv show. Pffft. Man, my circadians are wack right now. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Greg - 07-28-2024 I was up at 1:30 and never really went back to sleep until I left the bed at 4:30 to walk the dogs. I was having Iron Crotch thoughts for reasons detailed elsewhere. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 07-28-2024 Very hot, humid room last night. Barely slept. Only good thing was thunder/lightning over the lake. Intermittent downpours this morning, but cooler RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 07-28-2024 Slept like a stone whilst Patrick tweaked to Acolyte e5 Woke after 1 cycle. Maybe 4 hours? I’ll make it work today… RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 08-01-2024 I almost fell back asleep when my fire alarm went off… RE: Brain circus insomnia - Drunk Monk - 08-01-2024 That goddamned alarm kept going off all night. I pulled it down and put it in a cabinet. It’s one of those 10 year no battery ones - no on or off once it’s activated. It kept going off so I smashed it with a hammer and ripped apart the wiring. It is quiet now. I was hoping for a restful night… RE: Brain circus insomnia - Greg - 08-01-2024 Nothing solves problems like a 16oz hammer. RE: Brain circus insomnia - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 08-01-2024 Over at H's place earlier this year, the fireman brought it downstairs, laid it on the sidewalk, and took an axe to it. |
