RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 03-25-2025 Right on. I'll have to tune into that. I haven't kept up with Hozier. It's good good indie representation. Tara is excited because it's a lot of acts that she is eager to see. I'm into seeing Doja Cat, Glass Animals, Gracie Abrams, Doechii, and Finneas solo. Seen Ludacris, Anderson Paak, maybe Vampire Weekend, can't quite remember. Tara says Rebecca Black is worth a listen. Any other suggestions any of you? I was hoping for more K-pop - maybe there is some that I don't recognize. And something old skool cuz I iz old. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - thatguy - 03-25-2025 I count 11 that I recognize...what do I win? --tg RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 03-25-2025 (03-25-2025, 01:34 PM)thatguy Wrote: what do I win? You get to hear the new Hozier song for free RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Greg - 03-25-2025 Just did a sweep through his songs on YouTube. Plus, "I Can do it with a Broken Heart" RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 03-25-2025 Ya know, Hozier is prolly the oldest skool act this year. I do like that Take me to Church song and will sing along with that chorus if I’m present during that performance. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Greg - 03-25-2025 You might not have noticed because of my conditioning regimen, but I are pretty old, too. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 03-25-2025 We iz all oldz Honestly, when I first went down the list, Hozier was the only one that I haven't seen that I instantly thought of that Church song. The others took a sec... RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Greg - 03-25-2025 "Too sweet" is a current Hozier fav. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 03-25-2025 I hope that's a clap-along live I just realized I shoulda mentioned Hozier in my wannasee list above. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Greg - 05-06-2025 Mannequin Pussy! RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - thatguy - 05-06-2025 Vampire Weekend plus 2x on day 2? --tg RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Drunk Monk - 05-06-2025 (05-06-2025, 01:58 PM)thatguy Wrote: Vampire Weekend plus 2x on day 2? I'm curious about that sun & moon symbol. Maybe they're doing a day set and a night set? It's an intriguing line-up, a lot of acts I want to see but not necessarily for a whole set - perfect for OSL for me. Tara is excited about more of the acts than me. I think this caters to her demographic a lot - the 20-something SF peeps. RE: SF Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival - Greg - 05-06-2025 I really only care for 2 Vampire Weekend songs. (jk - I saw them at Treasure Island Music Festival many years ago and they had the audience eating out of their hand. Everyone was jumping up and down...lots of fun live) --tg Also, their Oxford Comma oner video is pretty good, touching on OK GO territory, but that was like 15 years ago...wonder what they sound like now... |
