the way this forum is set up, you don't need to log on to lurk. and a prudent newbie would surf the forum prior to the first posting. truth be told, i'm just trying to bait thatguy into posting. herbox and scapino were such disappointments and LB & KB have been silent of late. we could use some fresh blood.

Yeah, you just have to go into "preferences" and change the background to something other than the freakin' moon. I had the same problem.
Of course, if you just can't read in general, this won't help much.
