Not yet.  May have to watch Return of the Dragon first.  Priorities, man, priorities.

Um, Return was mostly soundstage. Holiday was on the streets!

Puy du Fou. Go there. Tell me how it is.

Dude! Audrey!

Oh, he's probably in knickers. Well, Chuck is.

Fair point.  In skinny jeans no less.  Maybe this weekend.  I can probably talk Stacy into it because she loves vintage films like that.  Might even be able to talk Tara into Return because the cat during the fight is super cute (and a brilliant move of Lee's filmmaking).

If you get to the coliseum, look for Nero the cat on the 2nd level. Nothing special. Just a cat named Nero living in the coliseum.

@sfo

So long suckas!

RE: Paris & Rome 2018 - Greg - 08-07-2018

Blow me, Knickerboy.

Alternatively, have a good trip.

RE: Paris & Rome 2018 - Drunk Monk - 08-07-2018

In the waiting area. Stacy had condensed her gear to a tiny hermione’s bag, Tara has her new discount roller bag plus a daypack with room to spare, in breaking in my new eagle creek travel case which I’m rather pleased with so far except that the laptop pocket doesn’t lock.

Cal trans was packed with giants fans, bart was empty except for some sketchy dudes in hoodies, the sfo waiting area is replete with different accents. Stacy had a good laugh at my pronunciation of the French travel language book. Tara and I hope to fake Italian with our broken Spanish.

Au revior.

If anybody asks, you are from Canada.

How is it we reached page 2 of this thread well before DM even departed?

Enjoy, and stay warm.  I hear it's supposed to be in the 40s over there.

Um, Cranefly, about that whole Celsius-Fahrenheit thing...

Yeah, well, who's fault is that?  If those damned Europeans would just adopt the American system, they'd be all cool and breezy right now.

RE: Paris & Rome 2018 - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 08-07-2018

That’s a good point.

All the points that you lose for being an American you get back by being Californians. Worked for me during the Bush years.

1st meal - Paris pwned me with a cheese platter.

Notre Dame is lovely but no Quasimodo.
