Re: Soulless: Bk 1the parasol protectorate by Gail Carriger - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 04-14-2010 I though your motto was not get involved until the premiere? Re: Soulless: Bk 1the parasol protectorate by Gail Carriger - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 04-15-2010 Yes, but did you read all 5 of them? Each better than the last. No Iron Crotch, though. Re: Soulless: Bk 1the parasol protectorate by Gail Carriger - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 04-16-2010 I though there were only 3? I"m getting Dead Man's Boots from the library today. If it's crotch isn't iron, I tend to lose interest. Blameless by Gail Carriger - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 08-13-2010 Hey, Back on thread. It's the second book in the series. It's all the juicy victorianess of the first book without a lot of plot or action. There is a plot but it's not very involving. I was thinking there should be some arch villain that they can battle but it's not really there. It was still a fun read. I hope for more intrigue and action in the third book. Re: Soulless: Bk 1the parasol protectorate by Gail Carriger - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 02-18-2011 I'm using this thread cuz I actually searched the forum and found a reference in this thread to the book that I just finished. I deserve a cookie. Ian Banks Transitionary Meh. Glad I didn't pay for it. Gonna go start Surface Details now and hope that he is back on track. |
