That's the million dollar question (Please don't let it be a million dollars) isn't it? I did incorporate us a business but the auditor is listing us as a partnership. I'm hoping the company can just declare bankruptcy and avoid the mess.
I need to get with my accountant who prepared the taxes to see what our options are going to be.

Well the hammer just fell. Hard. Not only do I owe a lot in taxes. I got two penalties for gross misrepresentation. Good times. Happy Solstice everyone!

I"m hoping it's the penalty for both of us, then we can split it. Our angel investor made sure he wasn't on any of our docs, which is part of the problem.

Woohoo. Just sold a DVD copy of The Last Captain. Now I just have to find the box the DVDs are in out in the garage. And then find the mailer. And then go to the Post Office.
I might be in double digit sales now in DVDs. As for streaming revenue, I think I might be at $10.

I really wish that this was something we could offer through MartialArtSmart but frankly, we have a hard time selling our own TC Media-made DVDs nowadays.
YouTube killed us.

Nope. Dead. Dead. Dead. Plus the pool of people interested in seeing this movies is also dwindling. To paraphrase Raul Julia in Canonball Run, what's behind me doesn't concern me.
But I'm glad I did it. It was a learning experience. I made the DVDs kind of under duress since there was such a clamor. But knowing how DVDs were selling at TCM, I figured it for a lost cause.

Well, at the very least, you have hard copies in hand that you can add to pitch materials and such.
You know, we do this offer with KFTC in the power corner (the upper left hand corner of the cover) for 'FREE DVD offer!' We charge $10 for S&H (S&H for a $24 DVD is about $8). That means we make about a buck on the deal, perhaps a little more. But you know what? We get someone taking advantage of that almost daily. So it's worth it for us to keep it.
