We went through the roster more carefully and we recognized a lot more names upon discussion. Added them all. Now my app is fairly full. But really all I hope to see is K Flay, Grace Jones & Sabrina Carpenter. That’s all tomorrow on the main stage.

The incoming crowd was so big (after work rush) that it shut down one of the main fire roads.
Rochelle Jordan - house music with a bouncy front gal & guy. Held our attention for 1.5 tunes.
Last Dinner Party - 5 female musicians plus 1 male drummer. Lead reminded me faintly of Souxie (banshees). They did one nice acapella intro. Held us for 3.5 songs.
Had vegan Korean bbq nachos. Might get veggie momos next.

Snakehips got it moving. Classic edm, but done well with properly timed build ups & drops. Sun almost peeked out. They had the crowd.
Miss Twink USA in the Fake & Gay hall was standard drag, amusing for 1.5 tunes.
Etoh ox4 assisted in keeping him contained then got him to the ober pick up.
Now waiting for Tyla…

That was a ride. After the etoh, we did a walkabout then worked our way to Tyra but before she started, we assisted a responder crew to pull out a drunk passed out teen who puked all over himself from the thick of the crowd. As we were arranging transport, I was called to soma stage (the other side of the venue) for two trippers, an anxious dude with two friends and two gals, one of which was rolling about in the grass allegedly eating it. By the time we got there, all of them were o x 4 but still quite high. I convinced the anxious dude to meditate in the corner (his friend later brought him some fro-yo and he was doing better. The gals were trippin balls but having fun - great contact high - they showed me there shroom chocolates - dispensary bars called ‘inspiration’ or something like that. I regret not taking a pic. I borrowed a lighter from some dude nearby (got his gf some ibu) so the gals could have a fit. That helped.
We failed at dinner. I got some Indonesian noodles that were mediocre. Tara got a coconut curry tofu but it had some bonito flakes, and the tofu was dry (the sauce & noodles were good). We miss timed our dinner procurement and made hasty decisions before the mad rush as the main act was ending.
Then I was called in to observe an anaphylaxis patient on mdma get a epi shot (head nurse was worried that might trigger a trip relapse). She was fine and Tara got to sit in front of the heater. It was sf summer cold - fog came in heavy & drippy.
After that was settled, we did one last loop to catch all the concluding acts.
Killers had a good drummer.
Gryffin was edm with a vocalist who was ok
Sidepiece was heavy edm exacerbated by lights in the fog
Daniel Caesar was an alt rock singer maybe, kind of a buzzkill after so much edm.
Today was about a lot of edm. All in all, a fine Friday. We had a lot of fun and saved a few bad trips.

Saturday missions = K Flay, reggaeton, Grace Jones, Sabrina Carpenter.
This year is a fog fest. As we were walking back to Tara’s apartment, I was remembering when the Yeti lived nearby and how he feasted on the bacon-wrapped hot dogs thaf street vendors sell after the show. There must’ve been 2 dozen of them at the exit. And there were stragglers all the way to the apartment, trying to catch an Lyft or Uber because the system was overloaded and they had to get far from the venue for any hopes of getting one.

K Flay = still fun, still got it despite going mono
Grace Jones = incredible - at 76, she’s still got it and then some. We were totally blown away.
Sabrina Carpenter = pop engenue on the crest of her breakout hits. Kasey Musgrove makes a special appearance for Boots. Sing alongs complete with kareoke subtitles. Espresso is such an ear worn and everyone sang.
A fine day of good music.
No calls for me except for one snipe hunt.
