Do you remember the humour of the original Reefer Madness? Do you remember how cool you felt getting the irony of that 1936 film in it's 1984 setting.
That really doesn't happend in the Musical. I had to stop watching when slapping around Anna Gasteyer was construed as humour. Nothing says humour like spousal abuse. I had high (no pun)(maybe a little) hopes when I saw Alan Cummings in the lead, but alas, this all singing all dancing adds nothing to the original.
The DVD had one thing going for it, it had the original film in it's extras section. We watched part of that too before the Propoganda became too much to bear. Marijauna is the most addictive drug known to mankind, don't you know. Bruce giggling in the chair is still funny. Crazed piano player is still good. But it's just more of the same after awhile.

So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
