Out there someone has crossed a line and I don't think they are coming back. The following was in a review for a Patricia Briggs novel

How can the above possibly be? When did we get werewolf, vampire and fae politics?

Maybe I should just do reviews of reviews?

I finished all five of these books ages ago and I can't wait for the 6th. They all have great action and a great story too but just so you know by the time you are done with them theres a good chance you will want to join the Marine Corps after. I know I do now. I may enlist in a year or so but everyone is different. It was funny one of the characters in the series after enlisting he gets into boot camp and the class number is 4239. Same as my address that freaked me out a little. Anyways you can not just get the first book. You have to get these 3 then the 2 in the next triligy or else you're just wasting your time.

I reviewed a review of Microsoft Office 2007 on Amazon.
Actually, I dared comment on the review.
What I said was that it was clear from the review that the reviewer hadn't even used the software yet but was basing his opinions on what magazines and Microsoft itself was saying about the product. I questioned the validity of giving the software product 5 stars without having even used it.

A week later my comment is gone. Erased.

The reviewer is from Seattle.
Why do I smell a skunk?

I have the same feeling. It always seems to me that if a product is being released, any product, that someone from the sales department goes to Amazon and writes a review. Or the friends of authors. I don't put a lot of credence into those reviews. Unless they are uniformly bad.

In the military, he ran the mile and a half in six minutes and fifteen seconds. That comes out to just over a 4-minute mile sustained for a mile and a half.
He talks knowledgeably about everything. He knows everything.

While I am a dust mote on the tip of Pinnochio's nose in the House of Lies with flames shooting out my ears.

The phone call lasted 5 and half hours.

Imagine how far he could have run in that time?
