An Indonesian adventure. Two coffee makers cross some illegal loggers in the jungle. Beautifully shot in the rainforest outside Jakarta. Somewhat predictable (I knew the traitor right away) but it takes a fascinating turn in a village of young fighter sisters.

What drew me in was the villain and fight choreographer - Yayan Ruhian - one of my fav martial stars at the moment. And he gobbled up his villain role with gusto. But that pays out in the fight finale.

There’s a few acts as the barista buddies venture into the jungle, deal with the baddies, meet the fighting females, and that’s all fine, engaging mostly because the jungle is a rich backdrop. If you chose, you could just fast forward to the fight scene, but I’d watch it because it builds tension.

The finale fight is an all out brawl - blood spitting, bone breaking, wound kicking, brutal beat down in the dirt. Nice work from Yayan. We’d expect no less.

D00M recommended.
