The Speed Cubers (2020)
#1
I never figured out the Rubik's cube at all. Life is enough of a puzzle that puzzle toys like this just frustrate me.  I have no patience for that. So to see a global competition where cubers solve 3x3s in under 7 secs, that's just crazy. And there are other events - 5x5, 7x7, one handed solves - ridiculous.

This is a short doc - under an hour - and went deep into the relationship between the world's top two competitors. It's very sweet - their rivalry is unmatched by their sportsmanship and friendship. One is autistic, which brings an endearing angle in. A well told story, engaging, heartwarming, and revealing.

What impressed me the most was how grand and professional cube competitions are. It puts martial arts competitions to shame.

D00M recommended, mostly because it's short.
