Some other scribblings I have made:
"One": https://www.dropbox.com/s/wt2czuk6ts912c9/One.mp3?dl=0
--I think I made this in fall of 2019. I downloaded this free open source iOS synth app called Synth One and this is the first thing I did with it. I recorded a track on one phone as a Voice Memo, then double tracked it by playing it back on one phone while recording into garageband on a different phone with the phone's built-in mic. Then I recorded a second track. I was pleased with the lo-fi technique and the results. It was the first thing I did, and had a very Brian Eno-esque feeling, so I called it "One" (Eno spelled backwards)
"Hunker Down": https://www.dropbox.com/s/t5sm065mnuvhxu...n.mp3?dl=0
--Last October, during Shelter In Place, I took an Apple "Make Music with your iPad" online class. It was a 1 session 2 hours class where we mostly noodled with loops in GarageBand. This was my class project. I really like the Taiko kit, so I played with that, then added an Erhu lead over the top. When I listen to it, I think I'm emulating Adrian Belew...
"Round Peg, Square Hole":
--I had this repeating riff stuck in my head. Sort of a 3 vs 4 loop so that it didn't actually repeat until the 4th go round. I made this terrible demo:

I had a friend that wanted to collaborate, so I gave it to him and he turned it into this epic:

Enjoy?

Oh, that collaborator, Craig Polson, was my friend's next door neighbor in Felton (Zayante). He also did the drums and mixing on this track I wrote:

We recorded that in another neighbor's living room. I think Number Nine tried to play that song a few times. One of my few song contributions at the time...
Craig went on to play bass for a prog rock band called "Puppetshow". http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=292
