Behind the Attraction
#1
Go behind the scenes and see how the rides were built. Produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The first episode was obvious tie-in to Johnson's new move about the Jungle Cruise. And I resisted seeing it for that reason, but then I did see it. Surprise, it is a tie-in for the movie. But it also was a very good history of the ride. They do acknowledge the questionable past of the ride. They show how it appears in the other countries. The narrator was full on happy talk and I could do without her. But overall it wasn't bad.

Ep2: The Haunted Mansion.

Same announcer but I enjoyed this look BTS a lot more. I didn't realize Haunted Mansion wasn't one of the original attractions, for instance. There was a good look at the genesis of some of the effects. Again, they looked at the Haunted Mansion in all the different parks. It was good fun. I got some good trivia.

Ep 3: Star Tours. The Queen was less than pleased for me to screen this. But by the end, she wanted to go to Disneyland and visit Galaxy's Edge. Basically, the whole show is advertisement to get you to go to Galaxy's Edge. But it did some nice history of the original Star Tours. Lots of information on how the ride works. How they got Lucas on board. The whole show was reminiscent of the Movies that Made Us show. But the banter and editing is better on Movies That Made Us
