If you didn't get enough of car wars in Ford vs Ferrari, have I got the documentary for you. What Ford vs Ferarri fictionalized, the 24 Hour War gives you the facts of how that scrappy upstart Ford did battle with that monolith Ferrari. For me it was a good expansion of the story told in FvsF. It gave a lot of the backstory of the origins of both companies and how they got into the racing game or got out of the racing game in the case of Ford. There was a period when the big three automakers agreed not to make race cars. Only GM decided they would make the Corvette against the rules. Then Ford wanted to get back into the game and after getting snubbed by Ferrari just through money at the problem and their considerable might to win races especially The 24 Hours of LeMans. And it was a money race. Ford had the money. Ferrari just had the technical know how. But money eventually won out.
It was a good history lesson for me. I learned a lot of fun new facts.
