Dude, you know Ian Rankin?!?!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Ian Rankin? I don't think so. But my story appeared in a British anthology called CrimeWave 9, which was blessed by his blurb on the cover.
I was fortunate to publish this in England, because the language is too foul for any American science fiction magazine.
BTW, Lady Cranefly really dislikes the reader's voice. I have to admit I haven't listened to it yet. I'm afraid to.
As for payment, there is none. The exposure is payment enough, according to the podcast editor. Guess I'll have to trust his judgment.
I'm nobody's pony.
