I have no idea what this is going to be about, but I am intrigued.

Two episodes in. The big question: What the hell is going on.

I kind of know. Basically they are trapped in a TV town. In the first episode the town is I Love Lucy/The Dick Van Dyke Show. In the second episode, they upgrade to Bewitched. They use all those tropes from those shows but they have Wanda as the wife and Vision as the husband.

Interspersed during the show are some strange advertisements. There is a sense that something is wrong and Wanda kind of knows that but it's not full blown as yet. All the clues are very subtle at this point.

It's intriguing but they need to hand out more information at this point. We understand the gag but the show has to be more than just the gag.

S1 Ep3 More what the hell. The show has graduated to color. The motifs are all Brady Bunch and Partridge Family. I did get one clue about what was happening so I did look for it. There is a reference to SHIELD's sister agency SWORD and I was glad I knew so it made more sense. In this episode, Wanda gets pregnant, but she's going through the whole pregnancy in 12 hours. Of course there is more weird stuff. The show runners are still holding their cards close to the vest. But the ending does offer the tiniest of glimpses of maybe what is going on.

See you next week for even fewer answers.

I watched ep 1 but was not hooked, but then I don't follow Marvel at all so I'm not the target audience.

Finally! The episode everyone has been waiting for S1 Ep4. The filmmakers finally tell us what is going on. They just don't tell us why it is happening. But it was satisfying. Lots of new characters are introduced or brought in from other movies including Thor and Ant-Man. There are call outs to Avengers Endgame. It was fun. I think when Feige thought the TV shows should tie-in to the movies, this is what he was talking about. It also seemed to go by much faster than the other episodes.

As a bonus, I know the Construction Coordinator on the show. It's my old friend Karen Higgins.

If all the episodes were available i would binge the hell out of this show.

S1 Ep5 It's Halloween. It's the Malcolm in the Middle homage. Vision is starting to realize things are not right in town and he goes to investigate. Wanda faces off against Sword. Wanda's Twin boys are starting to show their powers. Pietro, Wanda's brother, seems to know he's in simulation while he is in the simulation and this is making Wanda unhappy. The show ended kind of abruptly.

My numbering is off. Last Night was Ep 7 "Breaking the Fourth Wall" It was a setup episode. Pieces were put in place. And then there was a big reveal at the end that showed who was actually behind everything that was going on. Many people on the interwebs had guessed correctly who the villain was going to be. But there is also a hint there might be a second villain lurking in the mix. Good solid episode using Modern Family as it's template.

Also. There's a new villain in town, last name: Harkness.

I'm just saying.

Wandavision! Wa-wa-wandavisionl

Ep 8 pulled it's foot off the gas for a bit to do Wanda's Backstory and to find out why she is so powerful. They answer the question and introduce a new twist at the end, or in the credit sequence. It's kind of hard to tell what the final episode will be all about. Lots of questions. I hope they don't leave us all on a cliff hanger with answers coming in Doctor Strange 2.

Episode 1 unlocked. I enjoyed it even though I have no idea who Wanda and Vision are in the MCU. Don't explain. I don't really care. That's what has always bugged me about the MCU...too damn many characters. I enjoyed the style of it - it's good parody of classic TV - and it's always fun to see Kitty from That 70's Show. Sure, she's only got one character that she plays, but most of us don't even have a character, so what can we say?

I want a Toast-Mate 2000.

Let the binge begin...

Nix that.

I want a Strucker.

Is it just me or does Wanda remind you of Peggy O? I saw something else recently that reminded me of her. I think I need a haircut.

See now? I don’t know who Pietro is. I don’t care. I probably should. I know who Ultron is.

‘The universe created a sitcom starring two Avengers.’

How meta.

The big reveal. My assumptions about what was happening weren’t far off. It’s all Wanda ... whoever she is... actually I kinda know but her arc in the MCU never made a lot of sense to me.

Glad they’re still milking the blip.

I’m stopping at 5 for now. The merlot and cheese puffs are making me drowsy.

It’s enjoyable. I like Jimmy Woo and Dr. Darcy. I kinda wish they could've suspended the reveal a little longer with the homage eps. I’ll see it through although I’m not such an MCU fanboy that I worship it yet. It’s amusing enough and I feel like I’m missing a lot of the Easter eggs. Maybe I should rewatch Ultron and Endgame to put Wanda & Vision in context.

Hail hydra.

Hmmm, T is home and suddenly DM gets to watch Disney+. I wonder the connection.

I'm on high alert avoiding spoilers for the finale. I'm not watching it until tonight during TV time. No, I'm not waiting for tQ.
