Seth Rogen stars as himself and as his great grandfather who was preserved for a 100 years in a vat of pickle brine. If your immediate reaction is to find something else to watch, go with that impulse.
It's not very good. I thought it would be better because of, sigh, reviews. And he wasn't horrible in the Charlize Theron comedy he just did. I gave it a chance. I now have remorse. There are twist and turns in the plot that are unexpected, but it's not that funny. The story isn't all that engaging.
Oddly, it's very religious for an atheist like Rogen.
Plenty of Rogen snort-laughs if you need those.
