There are drums, so I’m guessing there’s a backing track, but he’s actually wailing on those bell pulls or whatever they’re called so…cool!

Some of the songs are good, but his bellowing delivery kind of ruins it. And the playing is very unsubtle (that was always my big complaint about Springsteen too).
Glenn Campbell did a good version of Times Like These. (I'm only giving the link because it's not really an unusual cover - and I still haven't mastered the embedded video thing.)
