Remember how much fun American Pie was? Well, it was for me. It was also very surprising how funny that movie was.
Blockers wanted to be that and failed. It is still a movie about teenagers trying to lose their virginity on Prom night but it is told from the perspective of the parents who find about and want to stop this act.
The only thing I found mildly amusing was teary eyed John Cena who kept getting emotional in a variety of situations. He was the one who fully committed to his character's insanity. He did a lot of playing against type. And you get to his ass.
But the rest was just dreary. Towards the end, they wanted to preach about parents accepting their children coming of age. They also wanted to show how good parenting raises good children. Yawn.
Just say no.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
