The Treasure from the Wreck of the Unbelievable.
#1
I stumbled across this documentary on Netflix and all I can say is wow. What a great film.

It tells the story of artist Damien Hurst funded archaeological expedition to find the sunken treasure of an ancient galley off the coast of africa. It was amazing the stuff they found. Huge sculptures and artifacts that some crazy back in the 1st century AD  was gathering to build a temple until the ship sank waiting for a young archeological student to stumble across a piece from the wreckage on youtube.

And as I make my doc I was amazed that this story has not one but two crazy twists. All I could think was how did they do that? After seeing what was brought all I want to do is go to Venice and see the salvage.

I also learned something today about the whole project. It's a fake. There was no wreck. There was no salvage. It was all a stunt to promote Damien Hurst new show in Venice. The documentary is actually a promotional piece for the show.

I swallowed it all. Hook, line and sinker.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
