Mega Hurts

OK, they spell it differently, like MegaHerz or some such. It is a streaming channel that I came across a few years back on one of the smaller public TV stations. They specialize in European crime TV shows and movies. They subtitle them, which I prefer to dubbing. Some of the series are from books that I've read and it is great to see them treated well and in their contexts, and also a nice window on foreign places.

The public TV station stopped showing it after a year, so I was pleased to find it on Amazon TV. I spent New Years Eve in Italy with Commisario Brunetti in Venice (a German production, so double win for practicing some language skillz) and Detective Mantalbano in Sicily.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
